Spend a full day exploring the Maui you have been dreaming about. This
guided adventure combines the island's two greatest attractions - the
legendary Road to Hana and its lush, waterfall-rich rainforest. Your day
starts with a scenic van ride along the famous Road to Hana, with views
of sea cliffs, surf, and tropical valleys.
At the Kipahulu area
inside Haleakala National Park (near the "Seven Sacred Pools"), you'll
set out on the Pipiwai Trail, a 4.5 mile (round trip) hike that takes
you deep into rainforest. Along the way you'll pass an otherworldly
bamboo forest, enormous banyan trees, and streams that feed the falls
above.
The trail's grand finale is a towering 400 ft waterfall
surrounded by emerald green jungle. Throughout the day, your guide
shares stories about Hawaiian culture, the landscape, and the unique
plants that thrive here. With coastal scenery, rainforest hiking, and
classic Hana views all in one itinerary, this is one of the most
complete Maui days you can have.

Meet at 7:00 am at Kahului Park & Ride (View Map). The Park & Ride meeting location is along a large concrete wall with a single row of parking facing Hwy 380 west of Hwy 311.
Participants must be at least 8 years old and be able to hike 4.5 miles.
