Hike Maui - Kayak, Snorkel and Waterfall Combo

Do it all in one day! Kayak along ocean cliffs, snorkel, hike in a rainforest and swim under waterfalls. On this fun Maui eco tour, you'll kayak along the rugged sea cliffs of West Maui and snorkel with Hawaii's large green turtles. Next, your guide drives from ocean to rainforest to hike a remote valley in West Maui. It's an easy 1 mile hike roundtrip along a rainforest stream to waterfalls and small pools. The trip ends in an isolated, magical spot under a 20-foot waterfall.

Where and When:
Most Sundays & Holidays: Meet at 7:00 am at Makena Landing. Tour returns at 2:30 pm. View Map

Tuesdays & Thursdays: Meet at 7:15 am at Ukumehame Beach. Tour returns at 2:15 pm. View Map

Directions from Wailea / Makena / Kihei: Drive north on Hwy 31. Past Kaiwahine Street move to the left lane and go left towards Lahaina onto Hwy 310 North. At the end of 310 turn left onto Hwy 30. Look for Mile Marker 12 on the mountain side of the road. Ukumehame Beach will be a small parking lot on the ocean side of the road. Park there. Let the kayak guide know you are with Hike Maui and they will direct you from there.

Directions from Lahaina / Kaanapali / Kapalua: Head south on Hwy 30 as if you're going back to Kahului Airport. Once you pass Olowalu General Store it will be about 3 more miles. Look for Mile Marker 12 on the mountain side of the road. Ukumehame Beach will be a small parking lot on the ocean side of the road. Park there. Let the kayak guide know you are with Hike Maui and they will direct you from there.
Parties of 8+ will be accessed a $300.00 gratuity at the time of reservation.
Participants must be at least 6 years old.
Special Notes:
Hike Maui has the following COVID-19 health & safety protocols:
Small groups: Tour capacity is 60% to allow for maximum physical distancing in their vans and on the hikes. Group sizes are limited to 8 hikers plus the tour guide.
Mask requirement: Guests are required to wear a mask while riding in the van and during parts of the tour where 6 feet of physical distancing isn't possible
Physical distancing: Guests will be asked to maintain 6 feet of physical distancing whenever possible on the tour.
Wellness checks: Guests and staff members are required to certify they are healthy and symptom-free with no known COVID-19 exposure and undergo a temperature check on the day of the tour.
Stringent cleaning: All high-touch surfaces are sanitized daily. Hand sanitizer is readily available for guests on the tour.
Vehicle Sanitation: Hike Maui sanitizes their fleet with Bioesque® Botanical Disinfectant, an environmentally friendly, EPA-registered Broad-Spectrum Disinfectant on the American Chemistry Council's list of EPA pre-approved coronavirus-fighting products.
