🚁 Rainbow Helicopters – Isle Sights Unseen
Take to the sky to discover sights of the island of Oahu you can’t see from the ground. Come aboard Rainbow Helicopters and enjoy a 45-minute tour of Oahu’s most beautiful and hidden spots. Your tour begins with a pass over Honolulu’s famous harbor, home to the Aloha Tower, which welcomes arriving ships just as it has done for nearly 100 years. Heading east, you’ll fly over Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head, peaking into its volcanic crater.
Continuing on east, you’ll fly over Maunalua Bay and reach the island’s rugged eastern shores. Hanauma Bay will greet you with its spectacular coral reef, and you’ll then soon fly over Oahu’s southeastern tip and the Makapu'u Lighthouse. You’ll then travel up the Windward coast, fly over beautiful Lanikai Beach and the aptly-named Chinaman’s Hat further north.
Enjoy views of the lush forests and emerald cliffs of the breathtaking Ka'a'awa Valley where many popular Hollywood movies have been filmed, including Jurassic Park. Located nearby is Oahu’s highest waterfall, Sacred Falls, which is inaccessible from the ground. Heading back, you’ll fly over the Dole Pineapple Plantation and then enjoy low-altitude views of Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial as you approach the airport.
Doors Off Option: Rainbow Helicopters gives you the choice if you would like to fly with doors on or doors off. You can select your flight preference at time of booking. With the doors off option, you get to experience the sights with an open cabin and enjoy unobstructed views.
