Charming Hawaii Towns to Visit - Hawaii Discount

Have you ever traveled to a new destination and immediately felt a connection? During your visit to Hawaii, you’re going to make connections with the islands, and there is no better place to do so than in one of the quaint towns that are found on each island, offering a glimpse into what life is like as a resident of Hawaii. There are so many charming towns to consider for your trip, so let’s look at one charming Hawaii town to visit during your vacation.

Oahu
How do you choose one Hawaiian town to visit on Oahu? From Haleiwa to Hawaii Kai, the towns of Oahu are perfect for visiting and imagining yourself living, but the town to visit on Oahu is Kailua. The quaint beach town is located on the Windward side of the island, a short distance to two of the best beaches on the island, and a great place to spend some time. Local restaurants and shops line the main street, and its not too far from Waikiki. Spend a day in Kailua and you’ll be ready to make the move to Oahu.

Maui
In all honesty, it probably doesn't get more charming than Paia on Maui. The cozy town is the first stop on a trip to Hana and is a well-known art district that features great restaurants and shopping. Perhaps the best-known feature of Paia is Ho’okipa Beach, the mecca of windsurfing in Hawaii and a place that offers stunning views of a truly remarkable beach.

Kauai
How much would you expect a place to change over the course of 100 years? Probably pretty considerably, unless you’re the town of Hanapepe, where charm is in abundance. Known as “Kauai’s biggest little town” Hanapepe’s most notable feature is the plantation style buildings that are home to shops and art galleries, and were also the model for the famous movie “Lilo and Stitch”. Found on the southwestern part of the island, nearby Salt Pond Beach is a great place to take kids and perfect for a little bit of relaxing.

Big Island
Head north on the Big Island to the town of Hawi and you’ll find a retreat in paradise that is too charming for words. The biggest town on the North Shore is the home to galleries, shops, and a few restaurants, and is currently enjoying a big comeback as a place to visit on the Big Island. Formerly, Hawi was a plantation town that saw a sharp decline due to the closure of the sugar plantation and continues to be an up and coming destination for visitors to the island.
