This fun snorkel cruise aboard the Ocean Quest takes you to the pristine waters off Lanai's south shore, a marine life conservation district. Explore the beautiful coral reefs, home to colorful tropical fish and green sea turtles. Dolphins are found off Lanai, too, including spinner, spotted and bottlenose dolphins. Sightings of humpback whales are common from December to April.

After snorkeling, adults age 21+ with valid picture ID may enjoy one complimentary alcoholic beverage, including local micro-brew beer, wine or a Mai Tai. Additional alcoholic drinks, blended cocktails or refills are available for purchase.

Where and When:
Check-in is at 7:15 am at Pacific Whale Foundation's Ocean Store, located at 612 Front Street, Lahaina, HI 96761 View Map
Cruise departs at 8:00 am and returns at 1:00 pm.
We are committed to the highest sanitation standards and routinely clean our vessels throughout the trip. Staff will routinely remind guests to use our sanitizer stations, wash hands frequently and remain socially distanced, even during sightseeing and wildlife viewing.
Masks must be worn throughout the journey except while eating, drinking and snorkeling. Additional exceptions apply to children younger than two years of age.
Seats are pre-assigned to ensure proper distancing from other guests. We encourage guests to remain in their assigned section throughout the cruise. Food and drink services have been modified to limit contact and minimize the potential transmission of germs or viruses.
To further limit unnecessary contact and exposure to others, we suggest guests bring their own snorkel equipment on snorkel cruises if possible. For guests who need to borrow snorkel equipment, our gear is thoroughly sanitized after every use.
We do not "swim with dolphins" on this tour. Maui County laws do not allow it.

Use of any full-face snorkel masks are not allowed on Pacific Whale Foundation activities due to safety concerns.
REEF-SAFE SUNSCREEN GUIDELINES: This tour requires you to use reef-safe sunscreen in accordance with the statewide band on sunscreens that harm the reefs. Please read the ingredients list of your sunscreen as "reef-safe" is not a regulated term and sunscreens listed as such can have the following banned ingredients in them: oxybenzone, octinoxate, avobenzone, avobenzine, homosalate, octisalate, octocrylene, and ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. Reef-Safe sunscreen can also be found in local stores or be purchased on-board (4oz for $13 rate may change).

Wheelchairs: This vessel is NOT wheelchair accessible. If guests are able to walk aboard the vessel (with or without assistance from someone in their group) and take a seat on the first deck they may attend. However the restrooms & upper-deck also not wheelchair accessible and may be difficult for the guest to reach. There is no storage for wheelchairs.

The Ocean Quest is a 65-foot, double-deck, eco-friendly catamaran that offers a smooth and relaxing ride, with a spacious shaded cabin and rear deck. The vessel also has sunbathing areas on the bow and upper deck and is equipped with a galley bar, tables and comfortable armchair seats. Best of all, there’s a waterslide and snorkel platform for easy access to the water. After snorkeling, you can rise off using the freshwater shower. The Ocean Quest is equipped with two his/her bathrooms.
