🌌 Pacific Whale Foundation – Sunset & Celestial Stargazing Cruise
Enjoy a sunset cruise along the South Maui coastline that includes delicious appetizers and drinks while learning about Polynesian navigation (wayfinding) and how the ancient Polynesians used the stars to navigate across the Pacific and found the Hawaiian Islands.
On board is an international award-winning astronomy writer and speaker Harriet Witt, who will highlight specific stars. She will also relate stories about their significance to the Hawaiian culture. Witt is known for her entertaining and informative commentary on all things celestial.

As a special bonus, during the winter months a hydrophone is lowered into the water to hear the beautifully haunting songs of the humpback whales under the stars.
