Today, guests gather under the stars for a warm Hawaiian welcome, beginning with a complimentary cocktail, traditional games on the Hoaloha lawn, and live island music. As the evening unfolds, watch the unearthing of the imu, the underground oven where kalua pork has been slowly roasting since morning. Then savor an abundant buffet featuring island favorites like fresh ahi poke, teriyaki chicken, coffee-rubbed roast striploin, kid-friendly options, and decadent desserts, all sourced from land and sea around Hawaii's Big Island.

During dinner, hula and mele bring the legends of Kalahuipua'a to life, leading into a full-scale production that honors the surrounding mountains and Hawaiian culture. The night culminates in a thrilling fire-knife finale that makes the Mauna Lani Luau a night you'll remember long after your vacation ends.
