Discount Hawaii Activities & Tours Make Your Vacation Extraordinary

Awesome Pearl Harbor Tour

My trip to Pearl Harbor was the most extraordinary part of my Oahu trip.  Me and a friend went on the “Pearl Harbor, Arizona Memorial and Historical City Tour” through Hawaii Discount.   I mainly wanted to see Pearl Harbor because of my Dad and Father-in-law.  Both are vets and I wanted to tell them about my experience there.

The tour of the City was very good.  They took us to see the Punchbowl Cemetery, the Kawaiahao Church, the Mission House, Hawaii State Capitol and the Statue of King Kamehameha.  All of these sights were on the bus, so we did not stay along.   But being able to see the history was a rush!
The tour of Pearl Harbor was bigger than I thought.  The park is full of historic items, pieces of the vessels, and memorials with names of the fallen.  Get the headphones for your tour, if you can.   They will tell you a great deal about the items you will be seeing.

You do have a short film to watch before you board a vessel that takes you to the USS Arizona.  Once on the USS Arizona, you will feel like time has stopped or slowed down (at least I did).  I was excited to find out that a week before we came, they had a ceremony, where they placed the remains of a sailor back in the USS Arizona to be with his shipmates.  I did not know this was done.  Learned something new that day.
I could go on and on about the tour but I
won’t.  Needless to say my Dad and Father-in-law were very happy with the photos and gifts I brought back for them.  I will forever remember this as one of the best tour on my stay in Oahu.

Sincerely,
