Best Restaurants of Oahu

Date: April 16, 2020

There are so many great Oahu Restaurants. Here are some of my favorite places for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Breakfast:

I did a shark cage tour on the North Shore of Oahu and afterwards we were looking for somewhere to have a breakfast. We saw this place called Kono’s. We decided to stop in there and try it. It is a small little shop, when you walk in your get in line and place your order and then can go sit down. They have inside and outside seating.

I got the Haleiwa Bomber which is a breakfast burrito. It was one of the best burritos I have ever had! It had real eggs, breakfast potatoes, cheese and the pork was very juicy and tender. It came with a little side of salsa which went with the burrito perfectly.

Lunch:

The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center has a great food court with many options. My favorite place in the food court is Mahaloha Burger.  I liked it so much that I ate there twice.

The first time I had a Teriyaki Burger with Bacon and Cheese fries. The burger was very juicy and was a good size. They were very quick on their service and we didn’t have to wait very long.  The bacon and cheese fries had bacon crumbles as well as nacho cheese sauce all over them. They were both very good and delicious.

The second time I ate there it was just for a snack and not a full meal. I got the Parmesan Pepperoni Fries and a Strawberry smoothie. The smoothie was so good. It had a great strawberry taste and was blended very well. The first were so good as well. Cooked nicely, and had pepperoni pieces all over it.
I definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch!

Dinner:

The one place I recommend to everyone going to Oahu is Duke’s Waikiki. Located in the Outrigger Hotel, Duke’s Waikiki is known for its live music and stunning sunsets.

When we got there, there was a small wait but it didn’t take too long.  When we got seated, we were near the salad bar area. We got the salad bar, coconut shrimp as an appetizer, steak and lobster tail. The coconut shrimp was perfectly cooked. Crispy but not overcooked. The salad bar had so many choices on it and was delicious. The steak was heavenly. One of the best I have ever had. The butter on top added the perfect balance of flavor. The lobster tail was cooked just right and was so good. I had a strawberry daiquiri which was blended very well. It also had a great strawberry flavor. For dessert we got the chocolate cake. It wasn’t too rich and had just enough chocolate taste! I highly recommend trying to eat here at least once. It is a little pricier but it would be a great place to eat for a special evening, birthday, or honeymoon celebration.
